Recreation Committee


The mission of the Vergennes Parks and Recreation Committee is to provide quality recreational facilities, parks, and programs, which are safe, diverse, affordable, accessible, and enriching to the community.

The Vergennes Parks and Recreation Committee shall perform in an advisory capacity to the City Council and City Manager in matters pertaining to the operations and maintenance of recreational programming, facilities, and parks in Vergennes. The committee will determine recreational needs, and submit recommendations for the development of goals, programs, budgets, and the maintenance of recreational facilities and parks.

The Parks and Recreation Committee meets the first Wednesday of the month.
