11:00 AM - 12:00 PM    Water Aerobics - Water Aerobics
Aqua Fit Classes with Kathy Rossier Water Aerobics (Aqua Fit)  is a one hour class full of fun and energy! Exercises are performed in water that is between waist and chest deep and no swimming skills are needed to participate. Regardless of your age, size, or fitness level, you will find this aquatic adventure motivating and effective. Increase cardiovascular fitness, range of motion and muscle tone while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, ankles,  knees, and back.  Exercises are performed to lively music to keep you motivated and moving.  To purchase an entire season you must purchase a pool membership.  Drop in classes are available for $12.00 per class and payment can be made when attending class.  
 
7:00 PM - 7:30 PM    Junior Champs - Junior Champs
Junior Champs is for children who are interested in competitive swimming but do not meet current Level 1 requirements.   You must be at least 5 years old From a push off the side of the pool, maintain a prone streamlined position; then initiate a kicking action to the surface of the water with a pull to the surface and transition into a front crawl stroke without losing a horizontal body position.Complete one length of the pool using front crawl with good technique (horizontal body position and rotary breathing). Complete one length of the pool using back crawl with good technique (with a horizontal body position) Option to move up to Champs swim team upon recommendation from the instructor at a prorated rate.

Junior Champs is for children who are interested in competitive swimming but do not meet current Level 1 requirements.   You must be at least 5 years old From a push off the side of the pool, maintain a prone streamlined position; then initiate a kicking action to the surface of the water with a pull to the surface and transition into a front crawl stroke without losing a horizontal body position.Complete one length of the pool using front crawl with good technique (horizontal body position and rotary breathing). Complete one length of the pool using back crawl with good technique (with a horizontal body position) Option to move up to Champs swim team upon recommendation from the instructor at a prorated rate.

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM    Water Aerobics - Water Aerobics
Aqua Fit Classes with Kathy Rossier Water Aerobics (Aqua Fit)  is a one hour class full of fun and energy! Exercises are performed in water that is between waist and chest deep and no swimming skills are needed to participate. Regardless of your age, size, or fitness level, you will find this aquatic adventure motivating and effective. Increase cardiovascular fitness, range of motion and muscle tone while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, ankles,  knees, and back.  Exercises are performed to lively music to keep you motivated and moving.  To purchase an entire season you must purchase a pool membership.  Drop in classes are available for $12.00 per class and payment can be made when attending class.  
 
7:00 PM - 7:30 PM    Junior Champs - Junior Champs
Junior Champs is for children who are interested in competitive swimming but do not meet current Level 1 requirements.   You must be at least 5 years old From a push off the side of the pool, maintain a prone streamlined position; then initiate a kicking action to the surface of the water with a pull to the surface and transition into a front crawl stroke without losing a horizontal body position.Complete one length of the pool using front crawl with good technique (horizontal body position and rotary breathing). Complete one length of the pool using back crawl with good technique (with a horizontal body position) Option to move up to Champs swim team upon recommendation from the instructor at a prorated rate.

7:00 PM - 7:30 PM    Junior Champs - Junior Champs
Junior Champs is for children who are interested in competitive swimming but do not meet current Level 1 requirements.   You must be at least 5 years old From a push off the side of the pool, maintain a prone streamlined position; then initiate a kicking action to the surface of the water with a pull to the surface and transition into a front crawl stroke without losing a horizontal body position.Complete one length of the pool using front crawl with good technique (horizontal body position and rotary breathing). Complete one length of the pool using back crawl with good technique (with a horizontal body position) Option to move up to Champs swim team upon recommendation from the instructor at a prorated rate.

Aqua Fit Classes with Kathy Rossier Water Aerobics (Aqua Fit)  is a one hour class full of fun and energy! Exercises are performed in water that is between waist and chest deep and no swimming skills are needed to participate. Regardless of your age, size, or fitness level, you will find this aquatic adventure motivating and effective. Increase cardiovascular fitness, range of motion and muscle tone while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, ankles,  knees, and back.  Exercises are performed to lively music to keep you motivated and moving.  To purchase an entire season you must purchase a pool membership.  Drop in classes are available for $12.00 per class and payment can be made when attending class.

7:00 PM - 7:30 PM    Junior Champs - Junior Champs
Junior Champs is for children who are interested in competitive swimming but do not meet current Level 1 requirements.   You must be at least 5 years old From a push off the side of the pool, maintain a prone streamlined position; then initiate a kicking action to the surface of the water with a pull to the surface and transition into a front crawl stroke without losing a horizontal body position.Complete one length of the pool using front crawl with good technique (horizontal body position and rotary breathing). Complete one length of the pool using back crawl with good technique (with a horizontal body position) Option to move up to Champs swim team upon recommendation from the instructor at a prorated rate.

The Sam Fishman pool is offering two sessions of weekday swim lessons and 1 session of weekend swim lessons.  Our lessons are taught by trained, qualified lifeguards and assistants.  They lessons are designed to teach swimmers skills and improve confidence for a positive aquatic learning experience.    Session 1 7/3-7/14 Timeslot A 9:40AM-10:10AMTimeslot B 10:20AM-10:50AMSession 2 7/17-7/28Timeslot A 9:40AM-10:10AMTimeslot B 10:20AM-10:50AmWeekend Session Saturday & Sunday 7/8-7/30Timeslot A 9:45AM-10:15AMTimeslot B 10:30AM-11:00AMStarfish ages 6-36 months-Adults must be in the pool, Focus will be on basic skills, including adjusting to water, comfort on both front and back positions, blowing bubbles, and having fun.Shrimp ages 3-5-Designed to teach children beginner swimming skills, improve confidence in the water, learn to safely exit and enter the pool, learn to submerge face and body, and float on front and back with assistanceSquids ages 4-6-Designed to continue to improve confidence in the water, retrieve objects under water, float on front and back without assistance, begin to propel in a front wards motion in the water Seahorses ages 6 & Up-Designed to gain strength in the water, skills to be covered are performing kicks with basic arms strokes, fully submerging body with ease and holding breath, floating face down and on back, learning to change directions while swimming.Goldfish-ages 7 & Up-Designed to gain stroke development, learn to tread water, swim 25 yards comfortably, introduce breaststroke, butterfly, & elementary backstroke Dolphin-ages 7 & Up-Designed to teach swimmers how to dive, swim butterfly, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, and 50 yards Weekday sessions run a 1/2 hour for two weeks Monday-Thursday with Friday being a make up day.   Weekday lesson times are 9:40AM-10:10AM & 10:20AM-10:50AM Weekend sessions run  1/2 hour on Saturday & Sunday for 4 weekends, with the 5th weekend as make up. Weekend lesson times are 9:45AM-10:15AM & 10:30AM-11:00AM Junior Champs will be held from 7:00PM-7:30PM from June 26-July 21st, Mon, Wed, & Fri.  All swim lessons will occur rain or shine. Lessons continue when it is raining unless we have thunder and lightning present or the bottom of the pool is not visible. Cancellations are often made at the last minute due to fluctuations and quickly changing weather patterns.
