Vergennes Recreation has partnered with Sue Wetmore for a Bird Walking Adventure. Join Sue as she takes participants birding at The Watershed Center in Bristol (4783 Plank Road).
Sue Wetmore has been birding Vermont since the 1980s and is active with Rutland County Audubon. She has been a trail guide for a local inn for about as long. In 2019 Sue received the Julie Nicholson Citizen Science Award. This is given to those whose volunteer work involving various aspects of surveys etc in nature has advanced and helped the scientific community. Articles that she has written with her photos, have been featured in the Rutland Magazine on birding adventures in Costa Rica and Arizona.
